Caity was born and raised in Indiana. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2013 with degrees in Political Science (major) and English (minor).
Caity was involved in the Student Environmental Transportation Initiative to help the CrimsonRide (UA’s bus system) choose more effective routes for students that were not only convenient, but also environmentally friendly for the community. She was also a member of the Ducks Unlimited Chapter, Student-Athlete Peer Tutoring, and an intern at the Tuscaloosa County Public Defender’s office.
Caity graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2020. During her time in law school, she was a research assistant focusing on developing products liability topics and civil procedure for Professor William Janssen. She received a CALI award in Workers Compensation as well. She began working for Henderson & Henderson as a law clerk in May of 2019 and earned a position as an associate because of her tenacity and devotion to the practice of law. Her practice is primarily focused on family law and personal injury law.
