David Dunlavey
Associate Attorney
David is a graduate of Furman University (Bachelors of Arts) and Mississippi State University (Masters of Science). He was a member of the baseball team at both schools. While in undergrad David was involved with The Miracle League, providing opportunities for children with disabilities to play baseball, and the Vs. Cancer Foundation, focused on fundraising for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research.
David specializes in Family Law and attended law school and graduated from the Charleston School of Law. While in law school David competed in arbitration competitions and completed pro bono work addressing guardian/conservator issues at Charleston County Probate Court. David previously worked as an intern for Senator Tim Scott, where he handled constituent relations. David also served as a clerk for Judge Irv Condon at the Charleston County Probate Court.
David is originally from Spartanburg, SC but has found a home in Charleston. He and his wife Lauren live in Mount Pleasant with their dog Roe. In his free time he enjoys watching sports, going to the beach, fishing, and playing golf.
