Ethan Shafer
Attorney
Ethan Shafer is an Associate Attorney at Henderson & Henderson with experience in litigation, intellectual property, and NCAA compliance. He earned his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient, and a member of the intellectual property clinic. He also holds an honors bachelor of arts in English from the University of Toronto, with a minor in political science and history.
Before entering private practice, Ethan gained experience in collegiate athletics compliance and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policy development, working closely with university athletic programs to ensure compliance with NCAA regulations.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys staying active, following sports, and is always up for sushi or Thai food.
