George FowlerAttorney

George focuses his practice on general business law including startup companies and small businesses, transactional law including real estate transactions and business litigation. On top of that, George is an experienced estate attorney, probate lawyer, and also practices in a number of other areas including family law, wills, and other probate matters.

George graduated from the University of Missouri (2017) and the University of Missouri School of Law (2020). He received his B.S. in Business Administration (cum laude) with an emphasis in finance and banking, economics, and real estate. As an undergraduate and continuing in law school, George concentrated on business finance, entrepreneurship, startups, LLC formation and his academic emphasis included business law, transactional matters, and tax.

During law school, George served as Associate Managing Editor of the Journal of Dispute Resolution and participated in the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic where he advised and assisted startups and small businesses, drafting business formation and governing documents, and registering their businesses with the Missouri Secretary of State. As an undergraduate, George served as an analyst for the University of Missouri’s “Accelerator Fund” performing due diligence inquiries concerning startup ventures and making recommendations to the fund’s Investment Committee regarding grant applications. George also established and was co-President of a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, “Slap Shot on Cancer,” which raised over $100,000 for the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and Camp Kesem.

George began his career at Henderson & Henderson as a summer associate in 2019 after having clerked with two respected law firms in Missouri. He also had a summer clerkship with the international brewer, SABMiller, in London, England where he worked in their Corporate Affairs, Sustainable Development, Legal and Finance & Control departments.

While George was born in Melbourne, Australia, and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, he is excited to make Charleston his home and to spend time with his sister, brother-in-law and nephew who also make their home here. In his spare time, George enjoys exploring

Charleston, often riding his bike; working on “do it yourself” projects; following Mizzou sports; and competing in recreational sports, especially hockey.
