Liza Ransom

Elizabeth “Liza” Ransom is an attorney at Henderson & Henderson with experience in litigation and courtroom advocacy. Before joining the firm, she served as an Assistant Solicitor for South Carolina’s 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, where she managed hundreds of General Sessions cases and regularly appeared in court for motions and pleas. She later became the sole solicitor handling domestic violence cases in Cherokee County.

Liza earned her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in Criminal Law. She graduated cum laude from Wofford College with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Finance and was recognized as a Benjamin Wofford Scholar.

Throughout her legal career, Liza has developed extensive experience communicating with clients, attorneys, victims, witnesses, and others involved in the legal process. She brings that experience to Henderson & Henderson with a strong focus on advocacy, communication, and serving clients throughout each stage of their case.
