Sean Thornton

Sean is originally from Blairstown, New Jersey and moved to Charleston for law school. Blairstown is a very rural town in the Northwest part of the state, famously known for being the town in which Friday the 13 th was filmed.

Sean is a graduate of Gettysburg College and graduated with a degree in Economics (Bachelor of Arts). While at Gettysburg, Sean was a member of the Bullets football team and a member of Alpha Chi Rho. He served as both the Treasurer and Vice President of the Eta Phi Chapter while in school.

Sean attended law school and graduated from the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Sean was a member of the Maritime Law Society, Survivor Advocacy Society, Second Amendment Association, and Law Republican Society. Sean served as the treasurer for Maritime Law Society during his membership. Additionally, Sean was a member of Charleston School of Law’s Presidential Honors program based upon his academic performance.

Sean began his career at Henderson & Henderson as a summer law clerk while in law school. Prior to working for Henderson & Henderson, Sean worked for the Sussex County Criminal Division in New Jersey, which piqued his interest in the possibility of becoming an attorney.

Sean is an avid sports fan, most notably in the New York Yankees and New York Football Giants. He enjoys spending time on the beach with family and friends, hunting, fishing, boating, and the outdoors in general.
